The Metro Manila Skyway is an elevated highway and motorway under construction in the southern part of Manila and represents one of the most important and complex infrastructure projects of the Philippines of the last decade and will be carried out in complex logistical and geotechnical conditions.
The project involves the construction of an urban motorway viaduct (Skyway) overpass with 6 lanes that stretches over a length of 14 km.
It will cut the city of Metro Manila in two and will join the NLEX motorway in the north with the SLEX one in the south.
In 2016, Trevi Foundations Philippines was awarded the contract for the foundation works and carried out over 2,000 piles with different diameters, ranging from 1,2 m to 3,5 m, onto which massive overhead structures would be subsequently built.
